Arrival at Tbilisi – Transfer to Gudauri, on the way Ananuri and Gudauri tour

Once you land at Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport in Tbilisi, our friendly representative will greet you. They will then take you to your vehicle for a scenic drive to Gudauri. It’s about 120 kilometers (two hours) away and full of excitement. The tour will further take you to Ananuri Fortress Complex and Jinvali Water Reservoir. This is followed by a stop at Pasanauri – a place of unequaled natural beauty where you get to see the confluence of white and black Aragvi Rivers.

Your itinerary also covers a trip to the ski resort of Gudauri. Placed at an altitude of 2,190 meters, it is one of the ultimate places to enjoy activities like skiing horse ride, and paragliding to name a few. As the tour ends, you will be transferred to your Gudauri accommodation after check-in, spend overnight in your room.

Kazbegi tour – Transfer to Tbilisi

Today, you will leave your Gudauri accommodation. You will join our representative for a guided Kazbegi tour in a 4X4 vehicle. Immerse yourself in its beautiful scenery. Stop at Stepantsminda, whose main attraction is Gergeti Trinity Church. It is a 14th-century church set against the backdrop of Mount Kazbeg. After the tour, you will go to your Tbilisi hotel. There, you will check in and rest. Or, you can step out to see the region’s sights and try its food.

Tbilisi city tour & Mtskheta city tour

After breakfast, a friendly guide in town will lead you. You will set out to discover the region’s mix of famous structures, legendary monuments, and hidden gems. Enjoy a close and detailed look at the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Stop at the iconic Metekhi church. Take some cool snaps by the monument of Vakhtang Gorgasali – the founder of Tbilisi.

The tour continues. You will head to the Old Town. Its highlights range from Narikala Fortress, a Persian Citadel, to the old Sulphur Bathhouse District. You will also see monumental treasures like Sioni Cathedral. You also get to see the Peace Bridge and visit the marionette theatre of Rezo Gabriadze Theatre as part of your tour.

After a smooth 20 kilometer drive from Tbilisi, you will arrive at Mtskheta. It was once the capital of the Eastern Georgian Kingdom from the 3rd century BC to the 5th century AD. With your experienced guide, get ready to immerse yourself in its unique old world charm. You will make stops at some of the region’s most treasured gems.
